Upgrading your version of SoEasy

The current version of SoEasy is the 2010 version.

The 2010 version has many new features such as:

  • New self help training program with over 40 downloadable manuals and 5 hours of video tutorials
  • New support system
  • New Budget Management system
  • Improved cash book importing functions
  • Fund management facilities for Charities and Not for Profit organisations
  • New reports that let you know exactly what your financial position is
  • New User Guided screens to help you manage your compliance requirements better
  • Faster performance so you can get more done in less time
  • New End of Year process
  • Improved database layout and features
  • Faster access to nvoices, quotes and credit notes
  • Faster receipting process with additional functions for finding invoices
  • New end of month procedure for better management of debtors' accounts
  • New debtors reporting including export of values to spreadsheet and email of reports
  • Additional statement layout showing just the items that a customer owes
  • New diary with the ability to schedule a job/invoice into the diary
  • Plus 100s of other improvements

2011 Version

SoEasy is written in a programming launguage called Superbase and for the 2011 version we will be porting from that launguage to the next generation software called Simpol.

With the port to Simpol SoEasy will have many new capabilities including:

Run natively on Linux, UNIX, MAC, Windows, Windows Mobile.

SoEasy will be able to run in three environments:

  • Web based
  • PC and mobile device Based
  • Web and PC Based

SoEasy will also be able to run in the 64 bit environments e.g. Windows Vista & 7 x64 and Sever 2008 R2

The 2010 version is a preparation version for our port of the next generation launguage and it will be important for you to upgrade to the 2010 version if you wish to use the SoEasy Simpol version in 2011.
