If you click on the SoEasy icon and you receive a message saying that there has been a load up error there could be several causes.
When you first click on the SoEasy icon the action loads up a menu program. This has not actually launched the program, it has merely loaded the information necessary to display the menu.
The cause of a load up error can be many things. The top causes are:
a) There is no printer loaded into the Windows Printer section
b) A menu file of program file has become corrupted
HOW TO FIX A LOAD UP ERROR
1. Open My Computer and drive through to where you have loaded SoEasy
e.g C:\SOEASY
2. Locate the USER directory
e.g. C:\SOEASY\USER
3. Under this directory (/SOEASY/USER/ there should be several files. Delete the files (except any logos if you have installed them).
Be careful, you only need to delete the files under the USER directory.
It may be best to just rename the USER directory to USERold and then add a new directory called USER
4. Now open SoEasy again and it will recognise that there are no files under the USER directory and re-build them. You will be asked some questions about the installation because by removing the files, SoEasy thinks that this is a new installation and you will be asked a series of set up questions.
5. Be sure to go into "Set Printers" and make sure you have all the right printer settings.
If in any doubt you should contact support and let them assist you to resolve such a load up problem.
