How to install the Single User Version
When you have completed your installation, make sure to go through the Installation Checklist. This will ensure you have installed correctly and that if there are any problems, the checking process may resolve them.
Minimum System Requirements
- Monitor set to a minimum resolution of 1024 * 768 pixels
- Windows operating system (but excluding the 64 bit versions)
- Minimum of 200 MB free hard drive space
- A4 Printer or PDF Printer (loaded during installation)
Optional Requirements
- Internet connection (for using the web support centre and email functionality)
- MS Office or Open Office
Important Recommendations
- Always install SoEasy when you are logged on to the PC with ‘Administrator' privileges. This avoids file sharing issues.
- SoEasy will want to install to the directory C:\SOEASY. Leave it as this directory unless you know exactly what you are doing.
- If changing the installation directory, make sure the directory root for SoEasy is called SOEASY.
Single User Installation Instructions CD Installation
- Place the SoEasy CD in the CD drive
- The SoEasy installation routine should start up automatically
- If it does not open ‘My Computer', select the CD Drive, double click on the file SOEASY.exe
- Follow the installation prompts
- When complete, the SoEasy icon will be placed on your desktop and is also available through the Start - All Programs section
Single User Installation Instructions Web Installation
- Download the installation files from www.soeasyaccounting.com.
- If possible, save the file to your desktop.
- When downloaded, double click the file SoEasy Installation.exe.
- Follow the installation prompts.
- When complete, the SoEasy icon will be placed on your desktop and is also available through the Start - All Programs section.
- It is a good idea to delete the SoEasy Installation.exe file once finished with.
